LBSM stands for Liebestraum Music. It is a music store that I founded with a few partners. At the beginning, we mainly focused on reselling imported used pianos from Japan to customers in Hong Kong. The reason why we decided to focus on imported used pianos is that we saw a gap in the market. There were not many places in Hong Kong where customers could purchase high-quality pianos at an affordable price. We saw an opportunity to fill this gap by importing used pianos from Japan, which are known for their excellent quality, and reselling them to our customers in Hong Kong.
As our business grew, we saw opportunities to expand our services. We started to offer music education services, including lessons for various musical instruments and music theory classes. We also expanded our product offerings to include other musical instruments and books related to music. To promote music in the community, we began hosting music competitions and recitals. Additionally, we provided instrument repair services to ensure that our customers could maintain their instruments in good condition.
