Which book should I read first on western philosophy or are there any other interesting philosophy book suggestions?

I think the Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder is a must read. It is a novel, but also an introduction of the western philosophy history. I read this book when I was young, like 16 years old. This book is so fascinating and is a page turner. Once you pick up the book, you won’t put it down. Through out the book, you will read and learn the philosophy behind all the important philosophers in the western history. Strongly recommended!
