I developed a deep interest in design and website building during high school. At that time, I experimented with different technologies and tools, including Microsoft Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and even a plain text editor to build websites. I continued on this journey when I entered university.
In 2004, I founded the Greenleaf web design company with three high school friends. Our main clients were small to medium-sized enterprises, for whom we built websites using vanilla HTML and Adobe Flash for animations. The backend service was typically built using PHP and MySQL, which were the mainstream technologies of the time.
The journey was memorable, with times where we worked until midnight to prepare proposals for our clients. We also dressed up professionally and nervously stepped into clients' offices to introduce our company and pitch our services. These experiences gave us a taste of the business world before we graduated. I am always grateful for these stories and experiences.
